Amazing suction powerSo far, we love everything about this vacuum. I'm blown away by the power/suction it has. Not only does it pick up everything off of a rug, but also wood and linoleum floors (which is what we have mostly) but we use those vacuum-seal bags to store off-season clothes and linens and it sucks so much more air out sooo quickly! Our old vacuum was so lame compared to this one. But we have a big rug and a runner, and probably getting more rugs later. I like the fact that you can take the small canister off and use the extension wand to clean corners and up above on the ceiling (we have fairly high ceilings). It's also very lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space. It fits in a cupboard we bought to store it, that is 16"x16"x 6'. We've only had it for a month, but our son and his girlfriend bought the vacuum and I went to look at it before we ordered it and they've had it for a few months and have no complaints about it. I'm really happy we spent a little extra to get this one. We haven't used it a lot, so haven't had to empty the canister yet, but my son showed me how to do it and it looks like a breeze. The other thing, is that it does pull easier than push and we're vacuuming a .5" pile carpet. Of course on the wood/linoleum floors, no problems. The one thing I was not happy about is that I tried to call the Customer Service number 15 min. before their posted closing time and they were closed and when I sent them an email it bounced. I've not yet pursued that, but I will. My son said they had no problems with them when they discovered they were missing one of the brushes and it was sent to them.. We also didn't get the pet brush that was supposed to come with it, but we don't have any pets, so not an issue for us. Overall, I'd say that this is a great product and with the short time we've had it, we like it.

Unfortunately, it is a parallel import, and therefore the guarantee is not valid, and apparently repairs are not available through the seller, so I’m hoping it lasts a long time, but despite that problem, I’m still very happy with it.

Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe Upright Vacuum (verified owner) –
Amazing vacuum. Beats out my older Bissell 2999.I actually was in the market for a new vacuum as there were parts breaking on my Bissell 2999. (Dust buildup inside the motor housing leading to bearing whine, brush roller wear that required modification to prevent additional damage, as well as handle damage that prevented the vacuum handle from staying locked in place and later being unable to be removed as it got jammed slightly at an angle.)
Moving on, this is actually a step up, despite having got it at a substantially lower price (99 dollars verse the original Bissell 2999 price being around 200 dollars.) I wanted something that people praised for higher reliability, and this advertised a limited 5 year warranty. I got it, because 99 for a well reviewed vacuum was excellent in idea. I then looked at reviews all over the internet only to find out more and more that the Shark NV360 was way better than expected.
My only caveats to date are that it has a smaller agitator head, and that it doesn't come with a agitator attachment, you'd need to get the Pro version NV356E to get the agitator attachment. It does come with a smaller crevasse tool and a very functional upholstery tool that also worked very very well on the stairs.
Suction on this vacuum is amazing. Especially compared to my Bissell 2999. I have Hoover and Bissell Vacuums, and the 2999 was better than my previous vacuums, but oddly not better than this current one from Shark, the NV360 just to keep things clear. The hose diameter is larger, and that typically means less pressure for most vacuums, however, that is not the case here. You really need to be careful when using the attachments as it will suck up a sock you may have got too close too and it'll all be too fast to recover from anywhere other than the dust bin.
Emptying the dustbin is more involved than my Bissell and Hoover vacuums, where a single button press allows you to pull the bin from its' resting place. In the case of the Shark, you will need to undo two latches that secure the bin in place, but while I thought this would be a bigger problem it has not been. Installing the bin has been a bigger issue than removing it but the process is still really simple. The dual latch does offer the better seal though as it allows for more uniform pressure on the seal under neath and keeps the dust flowing down. It does seem that the foam prefilter would need more cleans than my Bissell 2999 required, but I found that dust released from the Bissell system would agitate my nose a touch, because allergies, while I have had zero incidents of that with the shark. (The Bissell 2999 was still the best I had before I got this NV360 for allergies I experienced, I just thought it was because it was kicking something up but dust patterns formed later in its' life showing it was some dust leakage.)
Moving this around is easier than the Bissell 2999 as well, but that is partially because the base is smaller. Both were swivel style vacuums but the NV360 does better on tighter turns than the Bissell. The smaller head seems to also focus more of the dust into the dust bin. Going over areas the Bissell seamed done with, I found that there was still a ton of dirt and dust embedded into the carpet even after 8 passes with the Bissell. I only knew there was more because even though I wasn't getting anything more on the 8th pass with the Bissell, going over the same area with the NV360 showed there was still a lot of dust left in the carpet. The Bissell did get all the dog hair though and there was only dust and dirt that the shark was able to extract. (This also lead me to do a carpet clean though, as I have a Bissel carpet cleaner that I really like and I finished the job with that.)
My lesson learned though is that even with a great vacuum like the Shark or my previous best Bissell, you may have to vacuum more often than every 3-4 days as that dirt just keeps getting deeper if you dont.
Moving on, I am actually very impressed and absolutely can recommend this vacuum to anyone who needs something better. I absolutely can recommend it to anyone who has allergies like me as well. Best vacuum to date. Side note though, when researching vacuums, I did find that the Shark Stratos and Rotator options are more amazing when it comes to airflow and pressure as well as large objects and long hair, but they are between 200 and 300 dollars. For me this is the best option for now, especially seeing it was only 99 dollars when I got it.

A really good vacuum - and it sure does suck!I'll admit I'm pretty hard on vacuums. With multiple floor surfaces (carpet and tile), getting a vacuum that works effectively on both can be a real challenge. Especially when you have the pack of dogs that I do.
With 4 dogs living here (we used to have 5), there is, naturally, hair that will ball up like tumbleweeds if you don't somehow get it off the floor. But it's the dirt that was really getting to me. Sometimes I swore I had more dirt inside than outside. Dirty paws are hard to avoid, and that accumulates to the point of . . . disgusting.
My previous vacuum was also a Shark, but it was one of the corded stick-type models. I thought it was doing a decent job until I could literally see the dirt remain on the tile floor while it was in operation. In absolute frustration, I realized I needed a new vacuum – NOW. Luckily, my housekeeper was here that day, and since she cleans multiple houses and has been exposed to the functionality and ease of using certain models over others, I pulled up Amazon and asked for her expertise and guidance. She pointed me directly to this model. "You won't be sorry."
OK, ordered it. Got it several days later. Easy assembly. A whole lot less noisy that my previous model. And power? Man, oh man, did it suck up junk that I didn't even know existed. And it was easy to move around without being heavy! What more can you ask for?
I am so glad I followed her advice and got this model. It works extremely well. Easy to empty since it has both a top and bottom release for the dirt canister. A duster or canned air gets out most of the junk if there is residue left behind after emptying. My husband also washed the canister and filters (make sure to let it air dry for at least 24 hours!) since it picked up a bunch of dirt that must have been lingering in my carpet for months. Yes, I'm revolted by the amount that apparently had been wedged in the carpet fibers for so long because my previous vacuum didn't have the power to get it out.
I am one happy camper now!

Powerful Suction, Great ValueI recently purchased this vacuum, and overall, I’m really impressed! The suction power is fantastic—it picks up dirt, dust, and even pet hair with ease. My carpets look brand new, and it works just as well on hardwood floors.

Great power!!!Fantastic vacuum at an affordable price! I was using a Dyson cordless stick vac which was more than twice the price of this vac and although it was good on hard floors, I just didn’t feel it was great on carpet. When I received the shark vac I could not believe the amount of dust and dirt it picked up AFTER I vacuumed with the Dyson. It also brought my carpets back to life!!! Having a cord is annoying, yes it’s heavier than the Dyson, (but not terrible), having said that, I’ll deal with it if it means my carpets will be clean. It does wheel around with ease and the suction is amazing. Also super easy to put together. Highly recommend!

Best suction ever!I absolutely love this vacuum and the suction power adjuster on it is amazing!! Best Vacuum ever don’t overspend on others that cost hundreds just do yourself a favor and get this one! It definitely sucks up everything it runs over, even heavy sand and things most other vacuum just throw around or miss. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone wanting a good strong suction for pet hair, kids, and everything else! It’s so versatile too. I can take the handle off for a short vacuum wand or take the whole thing off down to the floor for getting those places really high up. I can also take the whole body off and put the handle part in the head and vacuum stairs and hardwood floors easier. The brush is sturdy and can be cleaned easy. It’s so light and easy to move. It gets things up against the walls and trim. It works well on thick rugs and on hardwood floors and anything in between. This is the ultimate clean freak mom vacuum!! Last but not least it doesn't throw dust back into the air! So if you have kiddos that have allergies this is amazing and will make them feel better instead of worse!! Great vacuum and beyond great customer service and care !This is a great vacuum , I’ve had it for almost a year & I am happy with it completely , no issue , but the reason I’m reviewing today is because of my experience with customer support . First I’ll say this model is very lightweight and the blue one is very cute I like it aesthetically which doesn’t really matter but still it’s nice to have a cute vacuum. It was very easy to assemble, the parts fit strongly and securely together it’s not cheaply made though the levers are plastic . I vacuum very often & often after having baking soda sprinkled on my rug overnight & my last vacuum didn’t pick up the baking soda properly at all , I see a massive difference with this shark vacuum . If you’re used to one of the top of the line many hundreds of dollars vacuums I can’t say in comparison but this has a lot of power to it and I love how I can break it down to a smaller unit to get higher areas or hard to reach spots it’s very cleverly made ,the base swivels , it’s lightweight and it works wonderfully . The reason I’m writing this review now almost a year later is because today like many other times the dust bucket fell on its face while I was using the extension hose , no issue before just oops and picked it back up , but today the little plastic thing that keeps the top of the bucket secured broke off . If I had thought a few minutes I’d have duck taped it back on & used it like that since it’s not a crucial latch, necessary for holding it & emptying from the top instead of the bottom but not crucial. I decided to call customer support and see what they had to say about it . I didn’t realize this vacuum has a 5 year warranty , the woman I spoke to got me registered for my warranty , we did a video call of the vacuum so she could see what was wrong and verify the validity of my claim I supposed and then despite my realizing during the call that I could just tape it up she insisted on sending me a new bucket free of charge and also waived shipping as well . She didn’t want me using their product duct taped up because it would not reflect them well & wanted me to be completely happy with their product. It’s nice to know that if it is a bigger issue or if it “expires “ as she said they cover their products fully and in my experience happily and that’s great to know , 5 years is a generous warranty & one that speaks to their confidence in their products .
I recommend this company for sure if you’re looking for a vacuum , and this model is a great choice if you don’t want a very expensive vacuum but also want one that works powerfully and efficiently . It’s great to know that if anything happens even with a cheaper model the customer support is so fantastic.

Finally so happy, finally an actual vacuumThe media could not be loaded. I feel like I finally found the one. A vacuum that makes you feel like you’re getting the value for having to spend so much money. In my opinion, vacuums are extremely overpriced just like everything else in the world. I purchased this vacuum used on Amazon at a decent price And I can honestly say I am so happy I picked this one. I spent weeks researching reading reviews and I decided between this vacuum and the Bissell just because there was so many more purchases on that vacuum. The suction power is unbelievable the extremely cool features that it has like the storage for the tools on the side Handle. It is easy to maneuver, the cord is extremely long and the overall power and cleaning accuracy is really like nothing else I have experienced in a vacuum. Seriously I feel so spoiled with this thing. I will say it’s a little on the heavy side but that’s probably because it’s so powerful. It was also extremely each to put together. Unfortunately mine did come damaged (dent in metal handle) but Amazons customer service was amazing at solving this issue for me. Oh and I have 2 large dogs, 3 cats, a toddler and a preteen boy so this vacuum definitely has it work cut out for it.

Amazing vacuum cleaner!I am so happy with this little vacuum cleaner. It works so well. Very strong suction power that even the smallest particle of dust could be picked up with ease. Excellent performance in my book. Totally worth the price that I paid for. I'm glad I didn't opt for the more expensive brand. I am impressed with the quality of the way this was put together. Assembly was very easy. We used it right away. We made this purchase on an emergency as we have construction in our home and our 20 year old vacuum all of a sudden just disintegrated on us. The vacuum still works but the hoses gave out perhaps due to wear and tear from years of usage. So we were quite apprehensive to replace it with something new. But this replacement turned out to be better than what we have. It's lighter too and easier to handle. I do highly recommend this product. Forget the expensive brands. This works perfectly fine.

I vacuum very often & often after having baking soda sprinkled on my rug overnight & my last vacuum didn’t pick up the baking soda properly at all , I see a massive difference with this shark vacuum . If you’re used to one of the top of the line many hundreds of dollars vacuums I can’t say in comparison but this has a lot of power to it and I love how I can break it down to a smaller unit to get higher areas or hard to reach spots it’s very cleverly made ,the base swivels , it’s lightweight and it works wonderfully . The reason I’m writing this review now almost a year later is because today like many other times the dust bucket fell on its face while I was using the extension hose , no issue before just oops and picked it back up , but today the little plastic thing that keeps the top of the bucket secured broke off . If I had thought a few minutes I’d have duck taped it back on & used it like that since it’s not a crucial latch, necessary for holding it & emptying from the top instead of the bottom but not crucial. I decided to call customer support and see what they had to say about it . I didn’t realize this vacuum has a 5 year warranty , the woman I spoke to got me registered for my warranty , we did a video call of the vacuum so she could see what was wrong and verify the validity of my claim I suppose and then despite my realizing during the call that I could just tape it up she insisted on sending me a new bucket free of charge and also waived shipping as well . She didn’t want me using their product duct taped up because it would not reflect them well & wanted me to be completely happy with their product. It’s nice to know that if it is a bigger issue or if it “expires “ as she said they cover their products fully and in my experience happily and that’s great to know. 5 years is a generous warranty & one that speaks to their confidence in their products .
I recommend this company for sure if you’re looking for a vacuum , and this model is an excellent choice if you don’t want or need an extremely expensive vacuum but do want one that works powerfully and efficiently . It’s comforting to know that if anything else goes wrong in the next four years, the customer support and warranty are so generous.

Fine for floor cleaning but hose function could be betterI have owned a Shark Navigator Lift Away NV 352 for 8 months. It works fine for floor vacuuming – seems to have good suction, not overly loud and not difficult to push on low/medium pile carpet. The cons I have found are that the machine is quite unbalanced, it tips over easily, especially when using the hose, which is very short and inflexible. A longer hose or a way to extend it would make it much more useful. The tools fall off, so I don’t use the caddy on the machine and I bought some additional tools that included extension wands that make the hose more useful. The cup doesn’t hold a large amount and has a narrow part near the top that traps dirt/hair, etc. and is annoying awkward to clear out. I purchased it on sale so for the price I paid it was a reasonably good value. I don’t expect it to last forever and probably wouldn’t purchase the same model again.

Great vacuum and beyond great customer service and care !This is a great vacuum , I’ve had it for almost a year & I am happy with it completely , no issue , but the reason I’m reviewing today is because of my experience with customer support . First I’ll say this model is substantial yet lightweight and the blue one is very cute, I like it aesthetically which doesn’t really matter but still it’s nice to have a cute vacuum. Great power!!!Fantastic vacuum at an affordable price! I was using a Dyson cordless stick vac which was more than twice the price of this vac and although it was good on hard floors, I just didn’t feel it was great on carpet. When I received the shark vac I could not believe the amount of dust and dirt it picked up AFTER I vacuumed with the Dyson. It also brought my carpets back to life!!! Having a cord is annoying, yes it’s heavier than the Dyson, (but not terrible), having said that, I’ll deal with it if it means my carpets will be clean. It does wheel around with ease and the suction is amazing. Also super easy to put together. Highly recommend!

Best suction ever!I absolutely love this vacuum and the suction power adjuster on it is amazing!! Best Vacuum ever don’t overspend on others that cost hundreds just do yourself a favor and get this one! It definitely sucks up everything it runs over, even heavy sand and things most other vacuum just throw around or miss. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone wanting a good strong suction for pet hair, kids, and everything else! It’s so versatile too. I can take the handle off for a short vacuum wand or take the whole thing off down to the floor for getting those places really high up. I can also take the whole body off and put the handle part in the head and vacuum stairs and hardwood floors easier. The brush is sturdy and can be cleaned easy. It’s so light and easy to move. It gets things up against the walls and trim. It works well on thick rugs and on hardwood floors and anything in between. This is the ultimate clean freak mom vacuum!! Last but not least it doesn't throw dust back into the air! So if you have kiddos that have allergies this is amazing and will make them feel better instead of worse!!
